Tbh, I'm not expecting a movie-style ending where she'll realise that actually, she does like me and everything goes fantastic.
In fact, I can probably predict exactly what'll happen right now:

I'll pick her up, tell her she looks great, we'll go get the chinese. If she offers any money towards it I'll refuse to take it and insist that I pay (I can thank my Dad for me being like that, damn his manners). We'll eat the chinese and make small talk and take the piss out of the movie. We'll go to the gig, more small talk. I'll take her home afterwards, when we get to hers I'll get out of the car to hug her. She'll say we've got to do it again sometime and I'll then go home and crywank myself to sleep. If anyone asks how it went I'll say it was good, but nothing happened and that I guess we're only meant to be friends.
