I hate telling people I did Computer Studies because then they'll just pester me every 10 minutes with Computer problems. I'm not that good on computers anymore, not used them other than what most people use them for for a while.

And I'm shite at small talk/meeting new people. I'm getting better though. Managed a decent conversation with the man that sells the Tranmere Rovers fanzine when I bought it last week. Didn't run off scared or owt but we were talking about my favourite subject - Tranmere Rovers. Can be very daunting being in a group of people I don't know, 5/6 years ago I'd have clammed up and just not say a word but that's an exception rather than a norm nowadays.

When I enquired he said it's because I like all that 'dark, black music'. I said oh right, yeah I suppose you could call M83 and Kate Bush that

I don't get it, it's such double standards. I don't assume anything about people's music tastes, yet I constantly have people criticising and making fun of what they think I listen to... and they usually get it completely wrong. :|

Generally to avoid all that, I don't wear band tshirts and 'metal' looking stuff unless I'm out with like-minded people nowadays, I don't have the energy for that sort of judgement any more.

That's pretty rude actually :|

Wow, considering the wall of text I assumed it was going to be a real problem.

So people assume you listen to weird shit because you were tshirts suggesting you listen to weird shit.

Oh the humanity.

How will you ever survive this adversity.

No offence, but this. I completely agree with this.

Pretty rude of that guy to say that though. But it seems quite common for metalheads/rock fans to not give a shit about what others listen to, yet others feel it fine to comment on ours.

Personally, I'd have just listened to Disney albums on his Spotify :P

This is why I only wear certain shirts on casual Friday at work. Trouble is I have nothing in the way of trendy attire, it's on a continuum from nerdy neutral to militant metal.

Talking of work, I was out drinking last night with 3 of them including the hot Hungarian girl. Someone told me she didn't like St. Pauls because all the black guys were like "whoa, baby got back". Which to be honest, she does. I mean, really. One of my black colleagues was like "man, I would go in".

She also told me she does nude modelling (artistic, not pornographic). :thud:

Don't think we really click though. Shame.

Well, that's hardly exciting and juicy now is it. Cookie and Noodle and Alex and Ania were far more fun(ny)!

I'll help you guys get started, you just need to complete this sentence:

The main thing I did not like about my ex partner was __________

Sorry to hear that about you guys :( As long as there are no hard feelings I guess it isn't SO bad though, but it still sucks :/
