Indeed. Quite a few Chilli Con Carne recipes use chocolate as an ingredient.

A bit of grated dark chocolate and some chilli flakes works quite well on a burger too.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!

Not a Scorpions song. Ergo not the greatest ballad ever written.

Interesting.

Has to be at least 50% Dark chocolate otherwise it's too sweet. Some Belgian Beef stew recipes use dark chocolate too.

Anyway, back to talking to love and and the sort!

I prefer to add coffee than dark chocolate to chilli, it does the same thing but in a muuuch better way.

I think there's a massive difference between loving someone and being IN love with them.

I also think that you are only ever truly IN love with one person for your lifetime.

Lots disagree with that but hey ho, it's also a personal thing so if it feels like it is then roll with it and enjoy the ride, hopefully it lasts.

Coffee? Not heard of doing it that way but sounds worth a try.

Why's that?

Surely if we have the capacity to love one, then we have the capacity to love more than one.

How can it be we can be in love with one, and they be the only one, when we have met such a small percentage of the population. and one rough estimate (that I did a rudimentary Google search for) says we meet roughly 100,000 in our lives, which as a percentage of even just the UK alone's 64,00,000+, is roughly 0.14% of the population. To me it seems if the capacity is there, then there is no reason there shouldn't be more, even more suited to you.

I appreciate there's the argument for devoting your life to another, and and as such you don't have the energy to commit fully to more than one.

But I'm curious. As well as the concept of love not being something I can easily get my head around, the idea of only loving one person also doesn't quite sit right.

I'm not saying your wrong by the way, and I may have missed your point, which if it is the case, please do say so, I'm just curious.

It's weird, I mean I think I've been in love more than once in my life, but I'm also open to the idea that it wasn't real love at all, and maybe I still have that yet to experience or even never at all. Everything is subjective

Get the funk out.

Also, vehemently disagree with the whole "you'll ever only truly be in love with one person" sentiment. Hannah's right in that it's all subjective. And I guess that's why there'd be discrepancies in definitions, because "love" is what you define it as. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' concept of love, it's just what you deem it to be. Moreover, I think there are different kinds of love - even different kinds of 'in loves' - that depend wholly on the recipient. By my own definitions, I've definitely been 'in love' with a handful of people, but in quite different ways and not necessarily even being in relationships with them.

This thread is weird. When you actually try to talk about "love" as a concept, it's really hard. It's such a feeling, I can't figure out how to articulate any of my opinions on it.
