Re: The Relationships Thread

Re: The Relationships Thread
Been just over two weeks since I've seen that girl that I had a couple of successful dates. We're still in contact but she's been unwell and it's just been very hard to find time to meet. I'm kinda unsure if we'll actually meet again :/ It just seems that way
Hope I'm wrong but I've always got to be pessimistic about this shit.

Re: The Relationships Thread
Im in a bit of a question mark area of this subject atm. Went this this girls birthday and she was hammered and I drew a load of penises on her. She did sorta give me the impression that she was interested. I have no idea what's going on. Fucking muller it over a fucking punch up I think.
Re: The Relationships Thread
That's the accepted West Midlands mating call, isn't it? She now knows you're interested. Go forth and may you varnish her crotch cavern with your man-custard soon!
If it sounds good, listen to it

Well as i'm now past 30 and still single, with not having any future prospects of finding someone new. I've decided to simply be contempt in dying alone. I guess there's always the music to keep me company. And collection of cat's i'll amass in my 50s.

Re: The Relationships Thread
I know how you feel. I really can't see me reaching a point where I'm sufficiently happy with myself as a person to risk actively seek a relationship. I can do the making positive actions thing, but I have real difficulty giving myself any credit for such actions and that makes thinking positively about myself really hard.
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

I guess it doesn't help my cause with the last ex being 7 years ago, having a discussion about making a baby and she bawls out saying she's not ready etc etc. Now she's married and has TWO, ftw?

Someone changed their opinion on wanting children when they became older and more mature? WHAT A SHOCKER.

Sure. Unlike some, I don't see that as unreasonable. I'm still bitter over choices made nearly 15 years ago. Yes, the bitterness subsides with time, and it no longer intrudes on my day to day life like it used to. But it's still there.
(Yes, I still love her. Yes, we're still friends. Yes, I'm happy for her in her new life with her daughter. But that doesn't mean I'm not bitter).
