I agree with Dan.

This screening process is constantly stopping me from making people feel uncomfortable.

I agree with Dan as well actually. I find the problem with talking for too long online is it gets more awkward when you finally meet them in person and have a load of expectations. This way you also still have the easy boring small talk to make when you first get there and are under pressure to think of something to say.

He was impying it was weird that the girl wanted to do that, whereas I'm saying it's a good thing.

It's much easier to ply em with drink in person too.

It's weird that she asked me out, rather than the other way round

I do agree though, talking too much online can make the first date difficult in regards to the polite chit chat.

I agree that an in-person meeting is better, but I'm with Ania too on this. Got to account for stranger danger - did you learn nothing in school?!

I like to take risks every now and then ;) Although given some of them off Plenty of Fish lately I should heed the warnings..

This one isn't a serial killer. However I'm just not attracted to her. She's a lovely pleasant girl but unfortunately for her she looks, sounds and acts like a bloke I used to work with and I fucking hated him.

Ah well, at least you didnt spend all that time getting into her online just to find out you didnt fancy her IRL.

I'm quite enjoying reading your online dating adventures (not in a bitchy way). Do carry on :)

Haha cheers  I'll carry on; I'm in no rush to get with the next vaguely suitable person so I'm sure there will be more dates.

I'm become an expert on answering small talk questions about myself, I can nearly explain my job without confusing people now. 8)

I met my wife at school - we were in the same class. It was the only positive thing about my secondary school years :D
