Awesome - Homage to Catalonia is one of Orwell's most underrated books (and one of my favourites!)
2017 Gigs (here so I remember to go)

17/06 - Guns N' Roses - London
15/07 - Saor - London
10/08 - 13/08 - Bloodstock

Just gave up on: Steve Alten: Resurrection - sequel to a book I haven't read and besides, one and a half chapters in and I'd already lost interest.

Currently reading: Charlaine Harris - Living Dead In Dallas
Yet another girl meets Friendly Neighbourhood Vampire thing but it passes the time.

Next up is :The Lies of Locke Lamora. Which I picked up after seeing it mentioned on here.

Just finished reading Terry Pratchett ~ Making Money. Now I'm at a bit of a loose end as to what to read next.

Just finished - The Lies Of Locke Lamora (Scott Lynch) Rather impressed. Think Moist Von Lipwig with a certain amount of wit but lots more bloodshed and swearing. And sharks.

Currently reading: Russell Kirkpatrick - In The Earth Abides The Flame
Motley collection of bods trying to warn the powers that be of a coming invasion. A bit old-fashioned but readable.

The deeds of the Franks in the East. It's an anonymous account of the first crusade written (or so it is thought) by a guy in Bohemond's group. It's pretty swell.

I'll finish the Dark Tower someday.
