Yeah, over the past month or so they've had they're credit pulled, cancelled all stock of certain games a day or two before release and generally showed massive signs of going under.

I read the letter, i'm SHOCKED that EA would want more than other companies for their products. SHOCKED.

 I honestly think though that with ME3 they should have done it whatever the terms were. It's the biggest launch of the first half of the year, and they had exclusive rights to the £70 special edition.

if play.com could guarantee getting the game to people on the day of release, and could settle returns within a few days and allowed you to report an item missing sooner than 21 days after dispatch, that would be absolutely fine. but they cant, so its not.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012- ... -game-died Interesting article on the matter. Although I should note that this was published yesterday, so before this whole EA thing came out.

As a Game/Gamestation Manager I can honestly say today has been fucking horrible. Some things happening that could see us ok, but it hasn't meant the day or the next few days/weeks will be enjoyable.

'after SSX' apparently. Thank fuck for that I was going to go in tomorrow and pre-order it/trade some stuff in because I doubt it's going to be much cheaper elsewhere and I want Eddie.

you should, especially if you're gonna buy battlefield. on the plus side, when you realise it sucks you can just trade it in and get something good.

Brutal Legend is a really fun and unique game. Fuck the RTS bits though, every time I advanced the main story I was thinking "pleeeeeease no RTS" over and over. To this day I still have no proper clue how I managed to do it, it was so badly executed.

brutal legend was pretty good tbf.

syndicate is quite good, i've not played it enough though and now i have the rest of today to finish that and binary domain, which i havent even started. given the average play time of shooters i should be able to finish both.
