Didn't you just start playing?

This is probably the most time I've spent away from it. From preparing to go to Wacken, then BOA I've hardly been online and I had to say I wasn't missing it since we were all migrating to a new server so it was a bit of a quiet spell. Time will tell now that festival seasons' over for me if I end up in front of it more than I should!

FEAR scares the crap out of me, Bioshock which is looking good, GTAIV which I'm stuck on and on the PC I'm playing my first Civilisation game. Extremly complicated.

Huh...I've been trying to put it off for as long as I can, I'm such a GTA addict I'll be 16 hrs a day on IV if I get one...

Nah, been playing for a while but because I haven't got any money, I haven't been able to buy any more time since it last ran out.

Castle Crashers just came out today so I'm seriously tempted to grab some MS points and pick that one up.

Also gonna be getting Too Human, since my Clan is playing it. It isn't a great game, but it ain't bad either.

Just played Civ-Rev for the first time and I'm really impressed. I've been waiting for an RTS like this since the xbox came out.

Civ Rev is good, but I just don't play it anymore.

And as cool as Ninja Gaiden 2 is, it just pisses me off. It's a chore more than a bit of fun. I'm not enjoying it anywhere near as much as I did the first one, which I actually found fun. I'll probs just trade them in for Too Human sometime soon.

I want Mercenaries 2 as well.

I'm skint, and there are too many nice games coming out.

My laptop's buggered and I can't play any games on it anymore as it has an annoying tendency to overheat ¬_¬

Need to save up for a desktop I think.

Buying laptops for games is daft. It's underpowered, overpriced, you can't upgrade them and some games just need to be played on a 22 inch screen.

Naturally, but as a student a laptop is far more practical and convenient than a desktop is. Gaming was an afterthought when I bought it, but I did make sure it had a decent enough video card by 2006 standards at it's price range! If it weren't for the processor being a prat, I'd still be playing on my beloved Team Fortress 2 to this day!

I'm not sure. Desktops are harder to steal. All the time I had a laptop at uni, it never left my room, I did all my notetaking in lectures and seminars by hand. Our department had the gear we needed to do Powerpoint already there. My desktop (old family PC) that I upgraded was much better for writing essays on, it was more comfortable.

Damn, I was wanting to buy Spore, but there's a lot of talk of a 'security' DRM rootkit in the build :|

You'd think industry would have learned from all the bad press surrounding Sony and their audio cd rootkits.

I'm currently playing GTA IV on my Xbox 360. Pretty much what I expected if I'm honest I described it to my friend as 'The game of life', as it seems a tad too detailed for my liking. Seems centered on balancing your life between various people and events. Still, the storyline is just getting interesting and the graphics are great to gawp at.

Gave up on Prince Of Persia: Two Thrones 5 months ago because I was stuck on a particular Boss Fight. Just come back to it again and, yep, still ended up throwing my controller at the telly every ten minutes. So not only am I stressed, my controller is rattling in unfortunate ways and frankly, I'm not having fun.
