ME2 did shake up the combat, dialogue, character interaction and moral choice system. BUT APART FROM ALL THAT, WHAT HAVE BIOWARE EVEN DONE FOR US?

Bioware have been messing with all that since time immemorial, it's been a steady progression more than anything else. It's really, really good, but I never thought 'woah! where did that come from!?'

I didn't like ME and my housemate has ME2 and I don't think I'd enjoy it.

Then again I didn't think much of Bioshock 2 either in the end :(

even the first of both series, mass effect had an amazing story and it was like jade empire with guns, bioshock was just like a standard fps imo

Bioshock 2, clearly. I can't see the fuss about ME.

I can't stand Bioshock 2.

It's repetetive and the scenery is no longer interesting. They should have just left it as a single release... no sequels please.

Mass Effect 2 is fucking awesome though. Too short but soo sooo good.

Deus Ex:
Just shot up the VersaLife building and about to go back for the UC. This part of Hong Kong is a bit grating imo, having to go back to the same place you just left is pretty annoying but you get to blow stuff up at the end so it's alright. Trying to get it out the way so I can get to Paris (I think/hope).

About 17 hours in, I'm really loving Final Fantasy XIII, and I'll probably buy it once it drops in price/when I find it preowned.

I would also love to cosplay as Fang, she is awesome. 8)

At first I was like WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!?!? Then I realised it was an advert for Metro being played before the trailer.... :|

Yeah I posted that along with an interview with the art director a few pages ago but it was mostly ignored. Looks good though, even if the metaphor is as blunt as a sledgehammer.

I musta missed your post because I've been on the hunt for new Deus Ex info for a while until I suddenly remembered this morning to check IGN. Need to see if the original game will install on Windows 7 so I can finally get round to completing it....

Do eet!
The Eidos forum is the place to go for info, there's really not much other than some concept art, the two trailers and a few interviews.

as im trading DJ Hero in tomorrow, im wondering if i should get Battlefield Bad Company 2 or wait til the end of the week for Metro 2033. Metro 2033 looks nice but as its by THQ i dont put a lot of trust in their gameplay mechanics. or any other new game suggestions? (already have Bioshock 2 and Modern Warfare 2).
