No matter how many times you play it through, it's still shit compared to MGS1.

That game is the single reason why I still have a PS1.

It's why I got a shitty busted 60Gb PS3 instead of a slimline 250Gb for the same price. Some may say I'm a fool, I say I'm a fool who loves backward compatability.

Having said that the Crying Wolf fight in MGS4 was the best thing since... The End fight in MGS3. Which incidently was the best thing since the Sniper Wolf fight in MGS1, so it all goes back to that anyway.

In other news, dossing about in the backcountry in San Andreas. Again, such a fucking good game.

You can play PS1 games on any PS3 though.
MGS1 has always annoyed me due to my inability to play it. I could never get past the first bit before the elevator without cheats until I was like 18. And I've still not been able to beat REX (without cheats again).

Sons of Liberty is my personal favourite. Although after playing games in beautiful HD its really hard to go back to PS22 graphics.

Oh, well there's some reason I got this ugly piece of shit instead of the slightly smaller new shit, I just forget what it is.

This. These are also some of the best games there ever were.

Unfortunately where Neverwinter Nights failed in the D&D 'experience' was that the singleplayer campaigns were pretty much soulless (at least until the last expansion). Which meant you had all the mechanics but none of the atmosphere which is kind of the point of tabletop D&D I suppose.

If you did it mutliplayer though, there's a different matter...

I never really got into that game for some reason. GTA III wins for me I think.

I seem to hear that quite a lot except most people say they prefer Vice City, which imo is the weakest one. Three's probably my favourite too.

Plus a good sountrack.
Plus no wilderness where absolutely fucking nothing is happening, and no ridiculously boring drives between cities.

San Andreas was the best in my opinion. GTA4 was fucking gash.

Rockstar games I've played:

GTA San Andreas (huge map, entertaining game with loads to do)
GTA Vice City (awesome game, story and brought a lot that GTA 3 didn't have)
GTA 4 (really enjoyed it, but didn't break any new ground with less sense of humour and a shit main character)
Red Dead Redemption (great game, loads of niggling points and they've brought back the OH NO YOU CAN'T SWIM thing that annoys me)
GTA 3 (Brought a lot that hadn't been done before but a fair of it pissed me off)
Liberty City Stories (loads of it pissed me off)
Bully (quite simply: a shit game)

Wrong, it's mint. A total grindfest, but for some reason i 100%ed it. Was probably just really bored or something.
