Though from the snippets I bothered reading it seemed that you were largely spouting bullshit about knowing more than people who spend their lives studying a subject. :|

i never said i knew more, if you (or anyone involved) had read my posts you would have realised that. the guy probably didnt believe his own findings, but it'll take a while before someone officially proves him wrong cause nobody will want to waste their time discrediting something that anyone with a basic knowledge of the brain wont believe, and in the mean time, he looks like an amazing scientist.
that arguments finished now though so lets not go into it anymore

So what about those computer games eh?

Alpha Protocol isn't a pile of wank. Now eyeing up Deadly Premonition with a kind of morbid curiosity.

Alpha Protocol is a pretty good game let down by an annoying control system. Obsidian can make good games, but it's Black Isle/Interplay history still hasn't been matched.

I think a lot of the gamers here might be readers of Penny Arcade and so have already seen this, but for those who have not - they've got an article up about console to PC conversions, and the changes that have to be made. It's quite interesting - wonder over to http://www.penny-arcade.com/2011/1/24/ for it.

I borrowed Super Mario Galaxy from a friend, and it's amazing, the music is probably the best i've ever heard in a game, and it's an absolute bloody joy to play in every single respect.

Good job Nintendo, I want your brightly coloured mushroom babies.

just finished Fable III got to the bit where you kick the door down and overthrow the king expecting a massive fight to end the game and it was just a cut scene to which I just went...... WTF? :?

but then you have to dick around for ages as the king till you have a final fight with the shadow boyos. now I've done that I can't do anything else cause I was picking the good options the whole way through the game which means I was left with no money by the time you get to the final fight and 90% of the NPC's are dead so there are no shops or anything X_X

That's... sort of the point. In a way.

It's supposed a big moral dilemma that you have to skillfully or ruthlessly overcome, or just run that shit into the ground and let everybody enjoy their last year. Your 'good' options, were actually the bad ones :evillaff:
But it's just handled so appaulingly that I don't blame you for going with it (eg, it pretty much saying 'this is the good option, kay?' the whole way through).

I particularly liked making the whorehouse instead of the school. That's how I'd run the world!

New Vegas came through today. Socialising is now an inferior past time.

After spending an hour walking round one area trying to find one particular person, I concluded it was crap.
Which really isn't enough to say, but it was annoying as hell.

Black Ops Arcade is awesome! :D

If anybody doesn't know how to get it:

At main menu keep pressing the 2 trigger buttons till you stand up
walk around the back of the chair to the computer
type "DOA" and hit enter

I've decided to try and beat all the optional bosses in Kingdom Hearts I, since I didn't bother with them the first time around, but I can't even get past Kurt Zisa. :ugh:
