its not even funny enough to warrant so much effort, its worth a little chuckle if only for the fact that they're obviously playing a 360

I never really saw the point in trading in games.

Trade in is £30-£35 credit. What is the point of taking cash, because there is always another game to buy.

Because they cost to fecking much, might as well get something back for that shit game or the ones you don't play anymore. If I could trade in PC games I would.

the point of trading games in is when you pay £40 and get £30 back you've essentially only paid a tenner for the game, which is great if its a short game.

If I buy a game new chances are I'm going to play it for a long time (otherwise I'll rent or wait for a used copy to pop up), and so by the time I want to trade it it's worth nothing. And I don't have to mindset to sell something that cost £40 for like £8.

I bought Burnout Paradise for a tenner, could be repetetive but for that price I'm not overly concerned

Great game until near the end, and besides being a horrendous bugfest. Can be a bit overwhelming at first if you're not used to proper RPGs though.

I agree with this yeah, but not what mike said. If i really enjoyed a game i'd rather keep it and save my money for my next game.
I'm a collector and i love collecting and stuff but i'd rather not ever even sell a half ass game because i may find it fun in the future.

so you would buy a 5 hour game and then keep it in case you wanted to play it again? if i buy something that turns out to be really short, no matter how good that game is i'll end up trading it in. chances are if a games worth going back to it'll be fairly long anyway. there are games that i bought on release day years ago that i still have because they have good replay value, but games like that are rare so i trade a lot of games in so im not spending loads of money on games that dont last long enough to justify the price.

also, enjoying gears 3 a lot more than i thought i would, cant help but feel hardcore is too easy though. beast mode is fun, only did it once and a few waves of horde this morning.

my friend who was supposed to be doing the campaign failed to appear online, so i went on deathmatch. im notoriously fucking bad at gears online, and i also hate how the noobiest player seems to win. not played quite enough but it does seem a tiny bit more balance, even if i am still shite. did not too bad in my second match, had a positive K\D ratio so made it my last match. think i pissed people off cause most of my kills were with the chainsaw
