Kinect could be good, but its like they're trying to use us to perfect it before the real final product is released. As long as it stays optional, even if they put it in every game thats fine.

Id get the WiiU only for Zelda.

...and you're quite right, as soon as I have had my two games per console fix. I will trade it in. My mate at work is under the impression that the WiiU will be backwards compatible so he is trading his PS3 and Wii in to 'take the sting out of the cost of the WiiU.' Funny, I think those controllers with the screen in the middle of them are rumoured (I am relying purely on what I have heard - not read a thing about the console) to be around £150 each. What the actual fuck?

If he's expecting it to be compatible with his PS3 games, he's in for a right shock.

 Nah you know what I mean.

Not all that tempted to get it straight away. I do want to play the Zelda games off that console, but I think I waited until 3 or 4 years after the release of the Wii before I got one for that purpose. Ill be doing the same with this.

I highly doubt that they would force a product that pretty much bombed on launch. But we'll have to see, if in doubt go PC

I'm loving it. :D

In other news, it's looking like Guild Wars 2 and Borderlands 2 are going to come into my possession on the same day, and then the day after I'm moving to uni. Fuck this hard life.

Agreed.

Took me fecking ages to get it to install right though. The torrent kept corrupting .02% of the archive, so 7z kept erroring out. Finally got it installed on my SSD though, because fuuuuck loading times. Never minded it in the original though.

Oh yeah, and so far I've managed to maintain my status quo: no damage sustained from any enemy, on hard mode. I played through the original HL, OF and BS that way.

Now if only I could do it without spamming quick-save and -load.

I kept asking my brother if he'd got to the alien dimension yet, turns out the game ends just before you get there, so it's still unfinished.

Yeah, Xen's been postponed until a future release. Still, I'd rather have half the game now, and half the game later.

Oh no. What a shame. No Xen.

Said nobody ever. :D

It's brilliant so far. If Valve don't pick these guys up permanently, they're missing out.

As for Borderlands 2, if you haven't preordered it yet, GreenManGaming with the code GMG20-AWDF9-Q1PEY is £21.60 for a Steam key.

Mercans have Borderlands 2 already and have been providing me with spoilers. I hate them.

I was playing Black Mesa but it made me realise how much I loved half-life 1... So I played that instead Haha - Still waiting for Borderlands on Friday though, playing through Morrowind in the meantime
