I don't understand why people say that, I really don't.
Anyways, I got Sleeping Dogs upon release. I must admit I knew little about it other than it was meant to be 'quite good' and i'm really pleasantly surprised. I didn't realise it was originally going to be a True Crime game - Probably good since I hated the first one and wouldn't have got it. It's a really interesting sandbox game though.
Also NSMB 2 came, it's what you expect, but with thousands of delicious delicious coins to collect.

GW2 doesn't look anywhere near as good as GW was before factions ruined all the balance.
Re: Computer Games Thread
I kinda like Faction's..its not brilliant but its nice, been trying to get up to Eye of the north. Yeah I know Guild wars is a old game..but i was forever till i found out about it.
Re: Computer Games Thread
I doubt I'll be buying a game for a month or so,but I've got the special edition of Borderands 2 on pre order from Amazon. So many different guns,so little time to kill things with them....

Not impressed at the changes being made to Priests in the next WoW expansion. I've loved playing as a Shadow priest for years and it looks like priests are being touted as healers only again, or at least being pushed firmly in that direction more so than damage.

So why did it take me this long to find out Aion ( a nice looking mmorpg) went free to play?
means my time now is divided between that and Classic U.O

F2p Aion is brilliant. Beta 3.0 has just come out and according to my sister it's fantastic.

Sleeping dogs is exceeding all my expectations. It was going on the shelf with darksiders 2 coming out now but its gonna get equal play time. Im fully invested in the story now. Darksiders 2 itself looks incredible.

That looks AWESOME!
In other news, my WoW playing friends are still trying to drag me over despite me having a laptop which I highly doubt could handle it. Apparently the original game plus the current expansions are on offer.

Re: Computer Games Thread
Why surprising? Di you play the first one?
Darksiders 1 is in my top ten, the gameplay was familiar but the story was i believe completely unique, and it was very challenging. So far so good with darksiders 2, loving the loot system, death as a character so far is good, and the setting is stunning.

Re: Computer Games Thread
I wasn't very impressed by Darksiders, which is why I have no interest in the new one. It just felt like I played hundreds of hack 'n slashers like it before.
Mark Hamill being in it is always a plus though.
