Lego games are boring as shit now. I wanted so much to love Lego marvel, and I did, for all of about 2 days. Not gonna bother with them anymore.

I haven't played a Lego game since Lego Racers back in the day. That was a cracker.

That reminds me, I have a disc for that lying around somewhere. That, Lego Island and Lego Chess. I must dig them out at some point.

Ha, I had Island and Chess too. Both great (though Island only lasted like two hours!), but Racers was definitely the best of the bunch.

I loved Lego Marvel and bought this off the strength of it. So far it's.. alright.
The novelty has kind of worn off now and it doesn't really have the same feeling of scale as Lego Marvel. That game felt massive when you finished the story and were left to explore the open city.

This one, it doesn't seem there's an open world as such to explore. You get hubs between levels, each with portals to a different Lego world. While that's cool, because it's like it is in the movie (sort of), it really feels so much smaller.
Plus the story doesn't seem as big either. But I think that could be because I know I'm entering the third act of the movie, so I'm expecting the in-game story to end soon.

Yeah, it get's rough. but it is a little gamable after a coupple of run thoughs (having 15 sats up by the end of month three).

EXALT missions are bastard difficult in the early game though!

Still need to muck about with MEC & Mod...

Loving the Final Fantasy X HD remake. It's a little "Uncanny Valley" at points when you realise the main characters and monsters are all updated but NPCs aren't really. Wakka and Auron are definitely the best up to date models

Did they leave in the iconic "HAW HAW HAW HAW", or re-record it?

Sounds like a bit of a cop out if they only HD'd character models.

Mothership Zeta is making me very frustrated. Absolute arse of an add-on.

Of course that's been left in (I actually liked that scene because it was meant to be a piss take of laughing out loud).

I probably didn't word that right, Everything has received an overhaul but obviously the NPCs haven't been tarted up as much as the rest. Still looks gorgeous though.

30 years ago today, this was launched:

Other than a PS1, its the only computer I've had that I played games on: you could get them for £1.99, with the bigger titles at £9.99. Mine had a green screen, which made Steve Davis Snooker a bit of guessing game after the break!
She wanted nothing...and I delivered
