It should be able to run some games. The important thing there is that it's got discrete graphics, rather than integrated. If it's got a decent processor (e.g. i5 or i7 if it's intel-based), then that's another good sign.

Still "gaming laptop" has always been an oxymoron in my book.

That's what I thought was the case. I allways thought that about gaming laptop. It doesn't really work.

I finally finished Shadow of Modor.

It's on sale today on Steam, 10/10 recommend for anyone. It's like Batman but you're killing the fuck outta orcs.

Didn't even do the story for 90% of my playing time, just made up my own story with nemeseses and shit.

Have you seen the cost of gaming PCs?

Have you seen the cost of next gen consoles?

You can get a decent PC for not much beyond that if you look in the right place. The PC we've got downstairs cost £400 and can play most games on High-Ultra High without any fuss.

The next gen consoles have nothing that seem worth it yet. Quite happy with my 360 and my laptop for now. Now if Steam can stop raping my wallet for just one second...

I need a new PC, what would you recommend for around £400? What are the ones you have downstairs?

There's a bit near the end where some captain popped up and I'm like "He looks really famililar" and it's like "FACE YOUR NEMESIS"

Just makes the game feel so much about YOU. What actions YOU'RE taking. What enemies YOU make. Personalises the experience so much.

Completed Ryse: Son of Rome.

Knew I was getting into Quick Time Event Simulator 2014, but under 5 hours is insanely short considering the low replay value.

Still, good fun for those 5 hours.

11 games completed on steam now, only 427 to go.

I've been playing Papers, Please AKA Sophie's Choice: The Game. I now feel awful about everything.

Top game.

I have been playing battlefront 2, which has got me hyped to see what dice can do with it. Better not be battlefield with stormtroopers.

I don't know how to build a pc! And if I did there's so much choice I wouldn't know where to start!
