It's a great game. That is, if you liked playing/liked the idea of the board game.
It carries it on pretty much perfectly.

Lord of the Rings Online. I love it to bits, the community's really friendly, the graphics are really natural looking and the quests and deed system make grinding a lot less dull! Only downside is, not enough people play it, so it can be hard to find a group sometimes.

I used to love that. I keep telling myself I'll get it again, but It just never happens.

If they didn't want people to complain like that, they shouldn't have got rid of half the spells (give me Levitate, and all the transportation spells back), dumbed down the levelling system (Medium Armour, Small Blades etc) and lost that sense of a massive open world that went with the introduction of fast travel. The silt striders were interesting, original and worked very well as a game mechanic, I doubt that sorting a horse/carriage thing that took you from city to city would've been too much to ask. Oh, and the level scaling. No game overs unless you die would be nice as well. Apart from that, it's amazing.

I know, but having the temptation there is too great, esepcially if you say "Oh, I'll just fast travel between the two cities" and then "Well, Cave X isn't really that far from Town Y so it doesn't count, really".

I'd say that magic was quite a weakness in morrownind. Equipting a scroll every time I wanted to use one was annoying and the projectile spells (and ranged weapons in general) couldn't hit shit.

One good aspect was the rediculous enchantments you could put on your weapons and armour. Raid the great houses vaults, sell everything and use the funds create some insane amounts of damage. Then if it needs charging go soultrap vivec in azuras star.

Think I'm going to go start a new game actually...
