Re: Computer Games Thread
Got back to ME3 on my insanity playthrough. Completed palaven there without any major problems, thinking if I can manage gold maps on multiplayer this should be a breeze. But then, I haven't encountered the banshees or ravagers yet.
Re: Computer Games Thread
New WoW expansion looks great i will be certain to play it till i hit maximum level, build my own town and then not play till the next one comes out.

Re: Computer Games Thread
I may be tempted to finally try out World of Warcraft....
Re: Computer Games Thread
I'll save you the trouble: it's shit. And you have to pay monthly to play it.
Just finished Metro: Last Light. Looks like I got the "bad" ending, still a damn good game. Might play again in ranger mode so that the currency system actually has a purpose.

Incorrect.
Get a bunch of people playing it and it's super fun.

Re: Computer Games Thread
Well I've never had the free starter edition thing, so I can try it and not pay a penny if I don't want to. I might do... but I'm probably going to give Guild Wars 2 another chance to impress me. It's yet to drag me in, so if it can't I'll probably at least try WoW.

It's free up to level 20 or something isn't it? I don't want to for the same reason I don't watch those long american dramas (bar breaking bad, I watched that but didn't finish it). I've got other things to be doing!

Re: Computer Games Thread
Yeah I believe so. I'll probably not end up paying for it, I just don't have the free time to make the subscription price worth it. But I at least want to see what the fuss is about finally.
Re: Computer Games Thread
After reading some more about it, I've realised that Warlords of Draenor is actually a pretty cool idea.
Plus, shit loads of cool early Orc lore stuff.

Re: Computer Games Thread
Bought the new Assassin's Creed the other day, got around to playing it last night. Considering it absorbed me for six hours, I'd say it's pretty good. I haven't played the other AC's though so I can't compare it.
One thing I'd say is the freerunning could use a bit of work. It's pretty frustrating at times if you're just running and Edward jumps to something that obviously isn't climbable and so you have to faff around screaming at him. That could just be because I'm not very good at it yet though

Can you give a rough ratio of normal gameplay and pirate missions?
