Nah it's fun enough, and I havent' seen sudden death, it's just always the same with placement games in any game where the skill levels are so outta whack that it's generally ends up being stomps either side.

I remember when League of Legends reset all of it's ELO. You had diamond players in games with bronzes constantly towards the start. Sent shit crazy for a while.

Just wait until you get a sudden death on Volskaya, Anubis or Hanamura and have to defend with 2 mins on the clock. Huge distance from spawn, no time to get a teleporter and almost every attacking team just charges a million tanks at you and wipes you from the face of the earth in 20 secs or so. They're not changing it until next season either

Got myself to 51 in my placement games and haven't touched it since.

Just been fucking around with quick play because it seems a lot of the higher skilled players have stuck with competitive and quick play is a bit more chill.

I've had a few matches in Competitive, (not enough to get placed, yet) and tbh it's pretty hellish as a healer. No one fucking protects or helps you, but the opposing team is out for your blood HARD.

Very frustrating.

Solo queuing for competitive as a healer is pointless, although I have had a few decent teams in solo queue most have the wins I have have required some major carrying effort on my behalf. Supports not only get hit the hardest, but they get the least reward currently even if they play amazingly which is bs.

Ranks are settling now though which is nice, and the XP bugs that dropped me multiple levels have been fixed too. Now to unleash my Symmetra plays on the competitive scene and all will be well (providing my team can shoot straight anyway).
