This time, I saved Paul! :D

Well done  That's usually such a fucking challenge many people don't even realise it's possible! I think I used up all my LAMs and several Rockets doing it way-back-when...

Yeah, it took me ages to do! Did it with one LAM, a LAW, 3 gas grenades and a shitload of assault rifle ammo!

Apparently, what a lot of people do is they clear the hotel then exit through the window in Paul's hotel room, which causes him to die no matter what.

aquired assasins creed on the ps3 yesterday!!!

It kicks arse! really is awesome!

patience is needed though, very strategic and the combat system is unique...

standout though are the graphics, they are so damn lifelike is untrue, gotta be played to be believed to be honest!!!

It's the only game I play anymore. Even then it's only for about half an hour once a week, if that.

I used to play Championship/Football Manager incessantly before my PC aged.

Why do people think this so called 'real life' and games are somehow mutually exclusive? :P

How come no one ever says 'Too much real life to go to the cinema!' or 'Can't stop to listen to music, too much real life!'?

Exactly. I likened games to music and books to my mum once. It's all about escapism, I said. Games is escapism with explosions.

I don't get enough spare time to get into a game sufficiently to make it worthwhile. With all of my family and work commitments, combined with the need to see my mates occasionally, it means the only spare time i have to spend in front of a screen is spent on this forum, blabbermouth and myspace, hence no computer games. I only get to listen to music while I'm doing other things - can't think of the last time I just sat down and listened to a CD / record without doing something else.

Aye that beats me, it's not like you can shoot aliens or assassinate people in 12th century Jerusalem in real life, games are as relevant today as books and cinema!

Guild Wars is awesome. However, if you are Luxon we are now mortal enemies!

Nope, Kurzik :)

I've played the demo of Conan on 360, and good gawd is it dull, the only buttons used are x and y, and its none to pretty to look at graphics wise either. Though in its defence it's dead gory lol

That's Conan, just Conan.

AGE OF Conan is gonna be ownage. That's what everyones lookin' forward too, MMORPG POWAHHH

Oh and how fucking good is assassins creed?
I never get bored of leaping off buildings into hay. h00 momma.

Completed Assassin's Creed last night, only gripe is that it's too repetitive save for the assassinations themselves.

Mass Effect (harping on about this again) is out friday, I'll report on that soon enough, looks like Game of the Year to me so can't freakin' wait!

Assassin's Creed, on reflection - is a fucking letdown.

The story only gets good in the last 20 seconds then BAM the game just ends on you. There's obviously a sequel planned. Shame this game was so monotonous that I have no interest in replaying it.

Mass Effect better kick serious ass. Too many disappointments this year.

Thank god I didn't buy it. I was considering getting it, but I've honestly not heard a single good review of it.
