Hopefully never. Same to Airbourne, Volbeat, Ghost, Soilwork and Devildriver.

The river of salt that would happen if Babymetal played would be FANTASTIC.

are you suggesting that the male members of the audience would be able to create enough salty liquid while watching babymetal that it would flow in rivers????? there's such a wrong mental image

Some people mentioned waiting for tours to announce an already booked band, yet somehow missed Amon Amarth off the list of bands touring? They seem like the most likely one to me, maybe I should dive in on that bloodstock bingo :P

Last night in the live chat thingy Vicky called Amon Amarth the most ideal band for bloodstock going today I took that as a strong indication that they will play next year

They both have a lot in common.

Started well, was good for a few years, but now stuck in a rut and appeal to Download fans.

I actually really like the new Amon Amarth album, best thing they've done in years.

I'd hope the 'Viking' band would be Unleashed but I can't see it happening, sadly. Fortunately I'll be seeing them in a couple of weeks anyway :-D

Amon Amarth are a band that I thought were dreadful when they first played Bloodstock in 2005. They've improved somewhat over the years. But I still don't get on with the vocals, which ruin what might otherwise be a decent band.

I like Amon Amarth and enjoyed their set last time round, however I'd hope they were the small headliner out of the bunch; as much I like them they don't excite me as a headliner (for a festival anyway)

It wouldn't surprise me if King810 got booked, horrified but not surprised.

Would be quite happy with an Amon Amarth/Kreator dual headline.
