The last time I saw Danzig was 1988 when they supported Metallica.
Wouldn't die in a ditch if he played in 2018 but I echo all the previous comments that a lower slot under SG level would be appropriate given his recent output.

Danzig don't seem to play many festivals over here. I know they headlined the 3rd stage at DL back in 2011ish but that's about it. What size venues do they play when they tour?

Academy 1 up here on the last tour, which was the first in donkeys years - it was about 3/4 full so about 1800 people - more than would fit into venues Opeth, Arch Enemy, Kreator etc get booked into, but the crowd had punks, goths, glam and not a specific metal crowd

Interesting. Sounds like would be best suited to something like 3rd top on main - enough space in case crossover appeal draws big, but covers the festival a bit if that ends up not being the case.

Wouldn't Danzig play as the Misfits now anyway? Now that they all seem to have made friends and stopped sueing each other...or have they fallen out again?

Think that was a marriage of convenience for a few festivals - they were touting for European gigs gigs but did hear the prices were eye watering

Aye, think you'll find that they did it for the money, unless someone is willing to pay a big ol' sum of cash I doubt they'd all sit in the same room let alone tour with each other.
Re: Bloodstock 2018???
My guess is Judas Priest for 2018. So far I've managed to get at least one headliner correct every year and with all the press around getting Priest to play and the fact that the festival has now increased in size makes them a very strong possibility.
Im also going to say Meshuggah and possibly Clutch.

Re: Bloodstock 2018???
Bands we'd want:
Manowar, Judas Priest Nightwish
Helloween, Emperor, King Diamond
Band's we'll likely get:
Slayer, Trivium, Korn
Anthrax, five finger death punch, Opeth

I think we already know by now that Judas Priest isn't going to happen, if it was it would have happened already. It's common knowledge that they price themselves too high for BOA.
Re: Bloodstock 2018???
Just watching Emperor on the Wacken livestream, fucking gutted I'm not there.
They really fucking need to be at Bloodstock next year.

After the Wacken announcement, I'm going with Nightwish for the announcement at the festival
