And these guys aren't?

A bit hypocritical if you ask me.

Imagine if KYPCK were ever booked and security happened to glance at a distance on the main stage.

Yeah but those guys are only showing the guns and not the bullets so it's fine :P

On the one hand, I can sort of see the point with bullet belts: [Noodle asked me to change my post, as it was a little too explicit in instruction of how to be really unpleasentto one's fellow humans. Basically, there are good security reasons for the ban.]

On the other hand, anyone THAT determined is going to get us somehow, and as I was always taught, if you change how you live as a result of it, the terrorists win.

Nah. You can cause vastly more damage with three or four items from a supermarket than all the bullet belts at the festival put together. The Manchester bomber went to Aldi rather than the firearms department....

I remember when most of the venues banned bullet belts, studded belts and wrist bands in the 1980s. Mostly to stop us hitting the twats that were masquerading as security.

I miss the good old days of scaring security at metal gigs!

It's more how to make a bomb out of a bullet belt, so you can't see teh difference without close inspection.
