Pretty sure 2014 was really wet for one day.... Got a mean tan still but that day was bad.... Learned how meaningless a poncho was.....
i will never be able to answer what you asked of me...... Because something much more interesting just happened on the T.V.!

For what its worth, a friend of mine does weather forecasts for fesivals (mostly Download but he does others) this is what the models are showing for now, from his post :)

Little update
It looks to start well for the festival with a ridge of High Pressure influencing the UK's weather from Wednesday next week, this changes overnight Friday into Saturday leaving Saturday and Sunday when Low pressure and 2 bands of rain will pass through in those 48 hours. It is still early doors and the possibility is that this high pressure ridge could remain longer than it is currently expected to. So dry Thursday and Friday, some rain around Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures average for the time of year 16-20c. Light winds, breezier on Sunday.
Will update again this weekend.

Ten days away, so I don't believe that it's possible to know that 2 bands of rain will pass though over Saturday and Sunday. We'll see next week though. :P

Might not be as good as the last two years but if we escape with only a couple of showers, I'd take that.

So far today I've had frost, drizzle. mist, nearly hurricane winds, a heatwave and a torrential downpour. If it wasn't for the lack of snow then I think I would have won with the weather top trumps.

Metcheck have always been quite good and this year they say that it will be about 19 all weekend, a few showers inbetween nice bits of cloudy sunshine. Perfect really.

We can start to be less speculative now.

Forecast for Walton upon Trent: http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2634824

Some showers on Friday morning/lunchtime then currently looking dry for the rest of the weekend.
