Bloodstock Travelling Music

Postby i0th » Wed Jul 26, 2017 2:01 pm

Finished mixing my Bloodstock drive CD last night, this year's title is "Fuck The Classics" so it's all songs from the band's most recent release, think the oldest song on it is around 2013. Broke the unwritten rule of having more than one track by a single band because Galactic Empire are too awesome.

Iced Earth - Great Heathen Army
Testament - Brotherhood Of The Snake
Children of Bodom - Danger Zone
Volbeat - Seal The Deal
Placebo - Loud Like Love
Avatar - The Eadle Has Landed
Soilwork - The Ride Majestic
Devin Townsend Project - Stormbending
The Lounge Kittens - Duality
Disturbed - The Light
Iron Maiden - The Red And The Black
Battle Beast - Bastard Son of Odin
Amon Amarth - Raise Your Horns
Marilyn Manson - The Devil Beneath My Feet
Galactic Empire - Duel Of The Fates
Danko Jones - My Little RnR
Queensryche - Arrow Of Time
Sabaton - Winged Hussars
Hell - End Ov Days
Anthrax - Breathing Lightning
Steel Panther - Poontang Boomerang
Nightwish - Endless Forms Most Beautiful
Judas Priest - Dragonaut
Ministry - Punch In The Face
Airbourne - It's All For Rock N Roll
Brothers Osborne - It Ain't My Fault
Blind Guardian - The Ninth Wave
Grand Magus - Varangian
Slipknot - The Negative One (I let the guy who's in the car with me pick some songs too, sometimes, like this one, they're poor)
Metallica - Moth Into Flame
Ghost - Square Hammer
Gloryhammer - Universe On Fire
HammerFall - The Star Of Home
Alestorm - Fucked With An Anchor
Galactic Empire - Cantina Band

Anyone else sorted their music?

I'ma take my Creative Zen X-Fi with ~2k songs on it. :P

I need to transfer over my Testament songs, but besides that, I'm good to go.

Thought you said no classics? You've put Art of War in your playlist and Sabaton have had plenty of albums since that one.

Got a travel playlist with a mix of Alabama3, Mighty Sam McClain, Leadbelly and Morcheeba.

Will get plenty of metal over the course of BOA and I like some chill out stuff for the coach from Glasgow.

Nice, the drive back usually has something more chilled on but just depends on what CDs are in the car at the time, don't plan that journey.

After having much the same selection for every long journey for years, I've tried to change things a little for this year's pilgrimage. Still can't face a road trip without at least one Amon Amarth album onboard.

Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God
Ghost - Meliora
Bloody Hammers - Lovely Sort Of Death
Fleshgod Apocalypse - Labyrinth
Erasure - Greatest Hits
Corrosion of Conformity - Deliverance
Unleash The Archers - Apex
Wintersun - Wintersun
Against Me! - Shape Shift With Me
Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow
Rotting Christ - Rituals
Satyricon - Live At The Opera

I think that was a joke - the two songs sound very similiar.
