Oh and don't forget - M6 toll roads are £5.50 each time. I think they take contactless, but I just have the coins in my car ready to throw at them.

There is a way to avoid it, IIRC.

I did some shopping today. Got ductape, poncho, camping mat, wet wipes and a 3-in-1 cutlery thing. I've still got a few more things to buy, such as food and water, but there's plenty time left for that.

Just bought a new tent peg mallet for the extortionate price of £1 from B&M.

Mine cost the same in Poundland. :D After this rain we mightn't need the mallets for pegs but...

I just push the pegs in with my feet, I just saved £1.

Exactly. Then you are spending much more that £1 for new pegs.

Me thinks that someone is trying and failing to be funny.

Feet doesn't work at BOA, it always ends up with a hurt foot or a bent peg. Sometimes both.

Can't see it being a problem this year with all this rain softening the ground up.

Yep, only once. Shame as it was great. Not sure why it never came back.

Bugger, I'm staying in a hotel but there's no way I'll last the day without needing a poo. Do I need to bring loo roll?

I would. But you could also take a dump before you leave the hotel.

Ha ha yes but I need to poo at least twice a day I'm afraid. Although the general lack of veg at a fest might clog me up.
