He's going to change the entire set to hymns.

I've decided who I want to watch now. A lot of Sophie/New Blood bands there as a lot of the main stage doesn't interest me. I won't bother listing them all though. I'm glad that Wintersun don't clash with anyone as they're a lot better than I expected!

As much as I like Mechanix, it's not something that would live up to any kind of hyping. However with Allisa there, I wonder if they will do A Tout Le Monde with her in place of Christina Sabbica, think they've only tried that a few times live.

He said something about "we tried this before, but we didn't quite do it", so I hardly it's gonna be Mechanix cos they've played it a billion times before.

Would love to see Peace Sells, but there's zero chance of that since Dave said he'll never play The Conjuring now since he became a devout Christian.

He's said recently he's dropped his opposition to doing it, his attitude now is more "I won't choose to do it but if someone else wants to I'll do it".

I'm more than happy that Megadeth are playing but I'm not going to get my hopes up that they're playing a whole album in full or anything

First time poster here (going for first time this year!)

After seeing the Megadeth thing, i don't think it has anything to do with a song/setlist etc. They were specifically talking about doing stuff in music involving technology and advancing technology.

Personally i think they are going to do something like recording a video during a song which you can then manipulate once it's on youtube or whatever (see poisonous shadows).

That'd be a good apology to Satan fans after he forced them to move their set in 2014 meaning the sound curfew cut the set short.

Nah. It's fun for a few minutes then gets a bit tedious.

Bloody hell, must be pretty bad to get tedious in under 10 minutes!

Par for the course with any of these sort of entertainment things though. Impressive for a few minutes, then once you've seen it, you've seen it.

I think you're right. Just checked out the Poisonous Shadows virtual reality video on Youtube and looks like there was no crowd involved so they will probably try it at Bloodstock with the crowd.

After checking out the bands on the Jagermeister stage I must say I'm impressed. I guess it's because some of the bands seem more easy listening than what's on the other stages.
I see the bad moon arising.

Signing Tent times are now up for those that are interested in such things.

With that ringing endorsement i'm surprised you haven't been approached to be their publicist.

Gandalf's right. The first 5 mins are a bit 'ooh fire tricks' but it gets tedious very quick. Especially considering this has got to be their 20th anniversary performing on the SOPHIE stage.
