Thankyou Bloodstock, from HELL

Postby KevBowerHell » Mon Aug 14, 2017 6:09 am

We'd like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone involved with BOA - but of course especially to the thousands of awesome fans who supported us. I can't ever remember seeing the RJD arena that rammed. Yep - we had tech challenges, my guitar radio system crapped out (as did my Plan B and C cable systems) - but S'tan works in mysterious ways and he was obviously having a laugh :? I really hope it didn't spoil things too much for you.

We fulfilled a twisted ambition to bring in the biggest fire system ever seen at BOA, but we sadly had to stop using it about two-thirds through the set. There were just so many fans coming over the barrier and so much consequent activity from the Showsec guys in the pit, we decided that it just wasn't safe to continue - our #1 priority will always be to ensure the safety of fans and crew and we intend to keep our 100% accident-free record. But I hope you still enjoyed it anyway.

Bloodstock will always be special to us. Thanks again - and best wishes. :flame:

Really happy I got to the front for your set. Brilliant performance as always, although it's a shame about the tech problems and the pyro.

Thanks for signing my mug afterwards!

I noticed the tech issues, but seriously despite that the set was awesome. Sincerely Hell was one of the stand out bands of the weekend if not the top. You even put one of the headliners to shame!

Come back soon! Hell, next year even! I don't mind! It's all good!

Tech issues all add to the show. Being able to continue and blow everyone away still is a credit to your talents.

Thanks Kev and Hell.

Tech issues aside, it was a great gig, glad to have seen it. Was well made up Hell played End ov Days, love that tune.

Really looking forward to seeing the set over again if Bloodstock post it to their YouTube account.

It was one of the few shows I was able to catch, and it was amazing. I could feel the heat from the Kraken shack!

I got to the front (as standard for a Hell gig)... that was definitely the hottest pyro I've been close to. Shame the crowdsurfing douchebags had to ruin it but it is what it is. Great set nonetheless.

To be honest, I'm amazed you ever got permission to have that sort of pyro in the photo pit, with nothing to separate it from the crowdsurfers. It was a very impressive sight, albeit a tad warm...

Jayzus, I can see why they had to stop using the pyros. The heat was bad enough half way back. Those Showsec guys must be made of asbestos.
