Nightwish (headliner), Cannibal Corpse (special guest), Edguy, Babymetal and Running Wild.
Doubt it'd be Running Wild.

Would absolutely love Running Wild at Bloodstock but I just don't see in happening.

All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

BabyMetal could easily pull of a special guest slot playing the whole of their first album for sure and everyone would be having fun and love it for sure!
Not everyone would be having fun to Babymetal and that's a fact!
False metal is an enemy of the Daleks! EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE!!!
Re: Next announcement
They won't so it's not an issue but if they were announced it'd be a shit storm on here before the festival, constant moaning during the festival and a massive shitstorm and debate on whether teenage girls getting bottled is acceptable afterwards.
They're shit and it's not worth all the drama booking them would create.

No, No, and No unless they don't play a single song from the newest record.

I love Babymetal and they were great live, but they don't belong at Bloodstock.

Next announcement on Tuesday 9th, also the same day Exodus release their first song from their new album. Coincidence or could the announcement be Exodus?

Nah, too soon back methinks. As much as I enjoy Exodus I think it would be a very uninspired booking. I think Bloodstock know they need to pull the rabbit out of the hat as this is the first announcement and they need to provide an impetus for buying early bird tickets.
Re: Next announcement
It really wouldn't shock me if Exodus were included, I fully expect them to come back. I'll not be happy if they do though, that would be what, 3 times in 5 years? That's too much for a band who command such a high slot.
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!

Re: Next announcement
Exodus with Souza were a hundred times better than Exodus with the redneck Dukes.
That said, I doubt it will be them.

Re: Next announcement
Wouldn't surprise me if the return of Souza gets them a slot sooner. I hated them when they've played before (but a lot of that was down to Dukes - how anyone can say Down and Hatebreed bring the 'mouthbreathers and knuckledraggers' when he made Anselmo sound like Stephen Fry) so wouldn't be over the moon with them.

Uninspired bookings is what Bloodstock do best imo. I after 8 years since my first Bloodstock am expecting no rabbits coming from any hats. As for Exodus, no.
