They're one of those bands that are very variable. When they get it right, they're fantastic. When they get it wrong (such as at Bloodstock), it's very dull indeed.

Label are pretty big to be fair, one of the ways i look at it is that when i saw them in 2010 they played the guidhall in southampton with only godsized as support and sold the venue out 1400 capacity i believe). But if a band can sell out a big southampton date and do a large london date then they must be biggish, as to draw a crowd of that size not that far from london (and a metal band to boot) shows they do have an audience.

Are they too big for special guests? Are they bigger than Rob Zombie? Are they bigger than Cannibal Corpse?-Who cares?.The bottom line is that they are yet another shit band that nobody wanted clogging up an already piss-poor Sunday.

A good thing we can take away from Black Label Society being booked is that they won't be booked to headline 2016, which I was starting to get the suspicion they would

To be fair, I'd prefer Black Label Society to Bloodbath, and I doubt I'm alone in that.

I would also, I was very bored last time they played. Plus they're at Hellfest and I have seen BLS yet. Would only watch a few songs probably but can still say I've seen them

Does anyone know the tickets sales from last year? I'm just wondering how well this year is doing and whether this change of direction is actually paying off for BOA.

I'm sure that no matter what, they will announce an increase regardless
