Utterly essential.

The festival is nothing without Deli Kate's amazing food

Where was she? I kept an eye out for the stall after hearing so much about it on here but didn't see it once.

Using the picture above, Main Stage was to your right & New Blood stage was to your left.

Usually in the same place each year.

And it *needs* swapping with the merch stand. (yeah I know it'll never happen. :( )

Deli Kate is the ONLY place I ever get food inside the arena. The only time I bailed was when the queue was massive and my friend was about to pass out so I begrudgingly bought some chips from the stall next door. Which were shite, because only Deli Kate is true.

Swapping Kate's pitch with the Merch stand would make sense. That way:

  • She'd be next to the Rock Soc tent
  • You'd get a better view of the stage from here queue
  • You wouldn't get any smells from the toilets wafting over - not a problem for non-food items
All right, so I MADE a mistake! ONE MISTAKE!
Can't a man start over?! Do I have to keep on PAYING?! HUH?!
Maybe I should make another mistake! ...maybe TWO more!

She really needed two pitches and double the people helping out. I'd have bought from there more than once in that case!

Love their paninis. Have to be there every year.

A swap with the merch stand would be great too.

Whilst I get it's a popular place for food and hot drinks and there were often ques this year, I can't see it being feasible to swap it with the merch stand.

I think may have been the Saturday I was gonna get a t shirt but the merch stand was rammed so went to get food, Deli Kates had a que too so went next door but point being whilst it was a lengthy que to get food it wasn't even half the size of the amount of people by the merch stand.

Whilst I'd love to not be next to the toilets :ugh: I wouldn't be able to afford a pitch in such a high profile area and you need a high turnover unit there. I'd quite like to be where we were in '09 though- between the bar and the New Blood stage- we had a brilliant view of the stage there :D

Thank you for all your kind comments, it makes it all worthwhile. Hope to see some of you at Rock and Metal Circus
