Well, we do the Baguettes of awesomeness and panini made to order all day. Breakfast offerings we vary every day, one day may be pancakes with fresh fruit, eggy bread bacon butties, or even a full English.
Evening meals are also different every night. One carnivore, one vegan served at 7.00 and when it's gone it's gone! We think Thursday night will be curry night with a non spicy dish (for Tet) too. Not sure what the other nights will be yet, possibly meatballs in red pepper sauce, possibly a chicken and pancetta dish. Rich will want cassoulet because, duck. Others will want the wild mushroom risotto.

This year we're adding a hot baguette to our lunch time menu, with a GF wrap as an alternative for those who can't have gluten.

I'll post a full evening menu closer to the event.
We also take requests.
We do gluten free stuff too

You can find us on bookface

So, having had a think about requests... Cheese board? Variety of cheeses with crackers.
If it sounds good, listen to it

The only problem with that is you need a knife... You can always request a cheese platter Will- indeed you can make your own ;)
I hoping your new found status as a Dad doesn't mean you miss out on the fun this year. I may have to call on your tent erecting abilities again please xxx

While I'm obviously pleased that you'll be catering for my tastes, I'm sure there are others that will want a non-spicy alternative too!

You know what, I'm just going to say it. Deli, you need to be given another spot right in Serpent's Lair, ready for brek.

Download was fine, we got paid as promised but because we didn't keep to the programmed prices we didn't make a 'killing' but I refused to charge £3.50 for a plain coffee and £3.00 for tea. It made using the tills a bit awkward but I'd already published the prices and I wasn't going back on them. It did mean the minions had to wait nearly a week to be paid which was definitely a negative. I also had to pay in advance for my bread etc which was a pain.

Yes the fees are horrendous for Download, but it's not just that, it's all the hoops you have to jump through when all that really matters is the quality and safety of the food. We don't look smart, we're not trendy and to be honest, we just don't fit in. It's also very difficult to get minions and none of us are getting any younger!

Download don't love us the way Bloodstock does and I feel that. It makes me want to give you guys even better food if I can. Even though I'm working and have very little time and energy to socialise I still feel part of it all and I love seeing you guys enjoying it when I take my 'time out' walk in the evening.

Really interesting read. I have to say I completely understand, and I get what you mean when you say you don't 'fit in'. Download is always full of these slick franchise outfits with fancy branding. I think you're slowly building a following there as well with your impeccable service, friendly atmosphere and excellent food - but at such a huge festival I guess it just can't compete with bright lights and fancy colours. I have to admit, in a way I like seeing you at Download a little more than bloodstock as it means I can actually try some of your main meals as it lasts more than 5 minutes :P

Download is more suited for burger vans that can serve 500 customers per minute, they're the only ones that can afford the extortionate fees, and stalls that actually have decent service and good food (which takes a while to prepare properly) can't do that.

I also hugely respect your decision not to change your prices in line with the Download suggestions. To prove you're as good as your word like that really means a lot in such a competitive marketplace. It's a shame that you're not able to find any more minions to work with, your staff are always excellent - friendly, chatty and you can see how hard they work. If you need a little boost when hiring I'm sure you can show them some of the letters of support you get on these forums.

Also, I can attest that those 'Devil Dogs' are fantastic. Not that anyone here would be in any doubt.

Very much looking forward to sampling the vegan food that Deli Kate has to offer. The universal praise on here has got me very excited about the food offerings at Bloodstock.

I went through a stupid amount of paninis at Damnation last year, hoping to get in for some breakfast at BOA.

Do these exist? The eggy bread bacon butty i mean, not the coffee. Wow, thats a must this year.
Btw, last year, the stall next to deli kate was quite good as well. They sold pitta wrap type things, that were really fresh and very filling. However, Deli Kate is indeed the Queen of all food stalls.
