I've seen Deli Kate at a festival somewhere (can't remember which one!) but didn't buy anything due to the massive queue.. After reading all this, I'll definitely queue up!

How did the tag system at Download fair for you? I also noticed you may not return there due to extortionate fees.

Eggy Bread Bacon Butties are a must. We have a Bain Marie now, so it should all move a bit faster

Download was fine, we got paid as promised but because we didn't keep to the programmed prices we didn't make a 'killing' but I refused to charge £3.50 for a plain coffee and £3.00 for tea. It made using the tills a bit awkward but I'd already published the prices and I wasn't going back on them. It did mean the minions had to wait nearly a week to be paid which was definitely a negative. I also had to pay in advance for my bread etc which was a pain.

Yes the fees are horrendous for Download, but it's not just that, it's all the hoops you have to jump through when all that really matters is the quality and safety of the food. We don't look smart, we're not trendy and to be honest, we just don't fit in. It's also very difficult to get minions and none of us are getting any younger!

Download don't love us the way Bloodstock does and I feel that. It makes me want to give you guys even better food if I can. Even though I'm working and have very little time and energy to socialise I still feel part of it all and I love seeing you guys enjoying it when I take my 'time out' walk in the evening.

My cap is doffed. I also believe you helped a few people who had issues with there tags early on, so again respect. It takes a lot to forfeit profit for value and good service.

They were heavenly. Won't be bothering with bringing breakfast supplies this year, they were quickly left in the dust last time once I saw Kate was doing the eggy bread bacon butties.

We will also be doing the new Devil Dogs, they were very popular at DownLoad.

Morning Guys,

What's the menu like at Deli Kate's?

Bloodstock newbie but from this thread, looks like I am definitely eating here!
