Opeth up until Ghost Reveries were brilliant for great riffs and music altogether whereas Bolt Thrower and just crap i'd put them on par with Five Finger Death Punch for Knuckle draggingness, Opeth would be a fantastic headliner i think people are just bitter because they are a successful band that have more than 100 fans therefore aren't elitist obscure wank material.

Dude are you ok? Take a few days of personal time and come back recharged. I think it'd do your efforts a lot of good.

To be honest, Bolt Thrower have never set my world on fire with their recorded material...but they always hit the spot live.

Anyways, I'm very doubtful that any straight up Death Metal band would ever headline Bloodstock. I guess Carcass is the closest to that and if they played again would probably be a couple of rungs down the ladder nowadays now that the reunion hype doesn't exist.

I've actually been hearing that a lot over the last two days, from people who "apparently know what they're talking about"

Worrying.

I used to quite like Stone Sour, so there are definitely worse acts its could be for me (Down and Lamb of God are good examples), but there are also far better ones, that fit Bloodstock a bit better. How in the know are these people who "know what their talking about"?
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!

Can't see it myself. But if true then that's it with Bloodstock.

Not very, cos otherwise they'd know that Prince is headlining all three nights.

I'll be very disappointed if they announced Stone Sour. Not the end of the world though, especially if they're not the Sunday headliner and the other two headliners are good.

If they play, I hope there'll be something decent on the Sophie Stage at the same time.

That would be Vicky's personal choice then.

Wouldn't fit Bloodstock at all IMO.

I'd rather have Trivium

If Stone Sour play I'd be tempted to get a taxi to the nearest pub on the night they play and get pissed there, pretending it isn't happening.

There's often a late rumour just before an announcement that turns out to be false at every festival right?

Just no way can I see Stone Sour as a Bloodstock headliner for a multitude of reasons.

The only way I can accept Stone Sour is if the other headliners are Priest, and co-headlining night from Kreator and Watain.

I'd buy myself two tickets for those 3 bands in headliner slots even with Stone Sour...maybe they could throw Sleep or Electric Wizard on second stage at the same time....ah a man can dream.
