:P

Oh, were we talking about Dark Tranquility? Can I claim alcohol yet? :P

*Dream Theater

It's a misspelling as old as the band as itself.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

Perhaps the band should learn how to spell "theatre" correctly then ;)

Ok Queensryche are probably too small. I'm not a fan of Dream Theater, would much rather something else

Yep - IIRC Andy Copping said they turned down silly money - but they've only strayed outside of the US once since the re-union with DLR once for an ill-fated festival in Australia. They've not toured the Uk since a Bon Jovi support slot in'95.

Exactly, the capacity at BOA would not be big enough to make it worth while for them

Just dawned on me that that gig is 20 years ago in July - still one of my best days out - Crown of Thorns, Thunder, Van Halen and a near 3hr Bon Jovi set....

Wow that's a long time ago! Maybe a special anniversary show! Sonisphere is usually july isn't it? Must have been awsome, I should listen to more Van Halen really, what are their best album's? Not a fan of Bon Jovi though

You can get all the DLR albums is a reasonably priced box set. I like VH2 and Fair Warning the best. Hagar ones are patchy, more conventional hard rock.

Shitehawk Copping loves VH if he cant get them BOA have no chance

Maybe BOA are gonna redeem themselves big style and announce Manowar for Friday, make up for all the false metal headliners so far

Leave the hall fella
far more in line with a real BOA headliner than a Metal Hammer one

I`d rather have a set of classics on a Sunday than wait all evening to hear Dragula or have some Katherine Jenkins with guitars stuff on Saturday
Maybe your happy with the headliners, fair enough were all entitled to our opinion, to me the beauty of BOA is not Download-lite but a real Metal fest with a few classic headliners alongside things you wouldnt see at Sonisphere/Brownload away from the Kerrang/MH market. Sadly this year i`m very cold/annoyed with the headliners and there is a large portion who would like to see Manowar, Priest , Scorpions etc than have to dread an announcement of Trivium, Finger Finger Death Punch or Bring me the Horizon.
