I would really love Alice In Chains to headline have no idea if they'd be a band chosen to play Bloodstock though.

Nightwish - Black label society - Judas Priest

If Priest want it there a dead cert. However their pending tour next year stops them from me betting the ranch on it... Dead on for 2016 if not though.

why would a band that has played before and never headlined do so now?

The same goes for Blind Guardian, At The Gates, Morbid Angel, Arch Enemy and anyone else thats played before

I didn't think Kreator were big enough until I saw how many people were rooting for them on here. They're not as big compared to Slayer or Megadeth, or even Anthrax, but for a heavier headliner they're as big as King Diamond or Emperor.

As for the others I doubt any of them could headline, except at a push BG, who have headlined before. But sadly it's very unlikely.
actual hipster emo scum that still thinks his views on metal are worth commenting. deafheaven, baroness, blind guardian, kvelertak and converge pls

I would find Kreator a massively underwhelming headliner.

There a solid top 3 act but, they play too often over here to make it special enough to be higher on the bill and not big enough to get the spot on fan numbers alone.

The only way I could see that happening is if the fest spent the money on a very expensive headliner on another day.

'Cos they're more well known? Before their BOA shows they were co-headlining 400 cap clubs, after they were filling 1500 cap places that previous headliners like WASP play.

Emperor, King Diamond, even Behemoth had that rarity/special occassion factor. Kreator don't have that. Special Guests at best.

Have to a agree.

Not sure who to call though, Priest could easily do it, but other than that I have no idea. Rob Zombie probably too big, BLS could do it but would be dire, Nightwish probably could but would be dire...

we've had Anthrax, Slayer and now Megadave, that leaves 1 piece left.

i don't see Alice in Chains being likely, since when did we get grunge bands playing?

are Rammstein not just as likely as Killswitch engage or trivium or Korn or whatever other mainstream act is put in to draw in numbers

Judas Priest would be great but i think Venom are more affordable.

Would be nice to see a power metal headliner but with the festival growing i don't think there is any big enough

Opeth - Sabaton - In Flames

I'd be really, really happy with that. I'm unsure on In Flames though - can't think Bloodstock would go for them over all other options.

Rammstein are more expensive to book than Judas Priest so I fear your logic is a bit off. Agree about the power metal thing though.

I can't realistically predict it but i'd certainly appreciate it being Mastodon - Cannibal Corpse/Venom/At the Gates - Judas Priest.

As mentioned previously, Rammstein are ridiculously big.

Out of the others, Trivium or Killswitch would both be viable (though most certainly unpopular on here with most).
