I've heard a new one about a Black Metal band beginning with B headlining the Friday. If so it'll be another repeat.

I'm assuming you don't mean Burzum! ahh Behemoth really would be a disappointing headliner, not that their bad or anything, they put on a great show, its just far too soon for them, and I wouldn't really consider them headliner Status. Still would be way better than FFDP or Trivium! I want Deicide as headliners!

Nothing against Behemoth, but a band that headlined two years ago and will have recently done a pretty big UK tour? No thanks (kinda like Slipknot )

No chance in hell will Deicide headline. They were booked for about 4th from bottom on the mainstage a couple of years ago (but eventually pulled out)

If Deicide even get booked on a line up i have to fight the urge to put quotation marks around the name...at this point i simply expect they will cancel.

It was actually the slot that Evile ended up filling. As Deicide pulled out, Evile were bumped all the way up from second stage to fill Deicide's slot after they pulled out.

I'd be happy if Behemoth were Friday headliner. I had to miss them (and everyone after Iced Earth) on the Friday in 2012 so I could attend a friend's wedding.

I think so too but i doubt they'll get that shot. Shame really, very few extreme metal bands that aren't already known for their influential 90's work have such a position to make a serious name for themselves.

Not quite an academy band like recent headliners

Only new rumor (if you can call it that) I've heard is that Columns are planning on doing a late summer European tour and hope for festival dates , although the only substance I know of is from a small London promoter I keep bumping into and talking to at gigs.

Are Behemoth actually still likely? Wasn't the rumour a black metal band begining with B, and since Belphegor have been annouced, are we still expecting Behemoth?
