I'd prefer Scorpions, seen Priest a few times in the last few years, and they've been nothing more than okay, and Rob's voice has been pretty shot.

Scorpions on the other hand would be a great surprise booking for a festival that's getting ridiculously predictable with its bookings.

No matter how hard I try, I CANNOT get into Priest. So I've gone for Scorpions, purely cause I have never really bothered to check em out and it would give me an excuse

Thank fuck for that, really thought I was. I'm not saying everything they've ever done has been shite, but IMO they have a load of filler.

Heathens.

I knew you'd have something to say

Just feel their songs plod and don't really go anywhere. I like Maiden, Rainbow, Purple, U.F.O, Accept, etcetcetc so I dunno why they don't click.

Got to be Priest for me, Scorpions do nothing to me.
Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cunt... ME.

Okay that was oversimplifying it a bit, they dinnae all plod along. But I stuck Painkiller on again the other day and it just rumbled along in the background and never jumped out. There's a few okay tunes, but I certainly wouldnae call it the masterpiece everyone else seems to see it as. I prefer Turbo to Painkiller. Rapid Fire is an okay tune, but British Steel is pretty boring. Even my mate that is a big Priest fan agrees with me on that one!

British Steel is definitely their most overrated album. If you haven't already give Stained Class and Sad Wings a listen, they're fantastic!

I'll give Sad Wings a go, Stained Class did nothing for me other than Exciter.

saw Priest with scorpions twice in 2005, no desire to see scorpions again.

Either would be brilliant, Judas Priest would be ideal!

Don't care, won't be going next year :P though given how much people have been asking for priest, it would be nice if they got booked for those attending. Would have liked to have seen them myself.
