What does Bloodstock need?

What type of bands do you think Bloodstock need to book for next year? If you want to elaborate some band suggestions that'd be good.

I went the slightly troll route and voted Thrash, Death and Groove metal.

Sure most on here will agree :P

I think you meant to say that if people want to elaborate with some band suggestions then put them in the Wishlist forum since that's what it's there for, didn't you :-P

Some Germans. Especially German Power, Thrash and traditional Heavy Metal. :D

I noticed that but I tend to put "proper" doom under the traditional metal banner tbh. Stuff like Candlemass, Krux, Forsaken, Solstice, Trouble, RAM, Argus... It's all "proper 'evvy metal" isn't it. Much moreso than a large amount of power metal to my mind actually but that's probably a discussion for another thread...

Maaaay have forgot to add that in  I tried to include genres that have been booked at bloodstock before; but quickly ran out of options (yet I realize I put 14 instead of the 15 I could of).

No folk option? I went for power, thrash and black as they're my favourite three genres. I'd like a bit of old school metal as well though. Less death metal, no hardcore or groove. Don't mind a bit of proggy stuff.

In terms of what the festival really should be booking it has to be power. None of it last year and it's conspicuous by it's absence again so far.

Maybe Blind Guardian will headline the Friday? Beardy will love that one!
