cheers very much to those who have taken the time to work out the clashfinder and times the best they can, much appreciated! Four clashes for me, The enslaved one, more for countless skies than neo, Batalion and Dark Angel is the killer but to be honest this is a lot better than the times that were guessed before. Can at least see a bit of each of Battalion and Dark Angel now and Saille and Einsiferum. No too bad :lighter:

I may just be blind but aside from this "app" I've seen mentioned are the official set times actually posted anywhere?

Yeah, if you go to the Official Announcements section, the thread is there.

No worries. :) Although I just noticed an error in my post, which just makes me twitch.

Yeah, a big thank you to all those that have worked hard on trying to make sense out of the wall of silence emanating from Bloodstock Towers this past few months. All very much appreciated.

Does anyone old enough to come to Bloodstock actually buy that? I'm probably guilty of giving BOA to much of the benefit of the doubt but not this time, that is really annoying.

I've looked through it in Smiffs library from time to time just out of curiosity. It makes Smash Hits look like Zero Tolerance. It's definitely aimed at the 12-18 year old, mainly female market. It's more like a fashion magazine for alt girls with pictures of "fit" blokes with tattoos.

Pity really, as pre 1990 it was a fantastic magazine. With articles on things like instruments and recording albums rather than gossip.

I flicked through it today cos it had a 'Bloodstock Preview' mentioned on the cover. Compare a current mag with an old one and you can see the difference - here's an article on short lived band Badlands (not a big act - but the word count is bigger than most feature articles now)

http://klassickerranginterviews.weebly.com/badlands---may-1989.html

Not to say that it didn't have its pop moments in the past - Bon Jovi, Leppard etc were bigger pop stars than most of todays content, and then there was Bryan Adams, Then Jericho, Duran Duran, Phil Collins, Prince, Kate Bush, U2...etc

Oh it did.

But when it was interviewing people like the guitarist in Duran Duran or Phil Collins it was about things like equipment and influences rather than what hair gel he used (or not in Phil's case).
