At this point with only 28 days left you might as well leave it until stage times are announced and then change it

Yeah it's definitely still worth updating. I like to know what I'm watching so I kind get into a band's back catalogue a bit, and its harder to do that 2 days before the festival.
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!

When the stage times are announced, where will they be announced? Do I check here every day, the fb page or in the news front page? I like to plan ahead!

They're going to be put in a bottle and dropped in the ocean, the first person to find the bottle wins. Good luck, you tend to find alot of those bloody annoying "S.O.S." spam bottles.

What you do is this-check a few times every day on here and on Facebook until after many frustrating and bleary-eyed sessions in front of the computer you realise that there is only one day left til the festival. Then just when you think they aren't going to bother- hey presto!-the set times appear-giving you a precious few hours to decide which bands you are/aren't going to see and to plan accordingly.

I hope you're wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me...

They genuinely did release it the day before once, as well.

Best way to maximize last minute sales, people can see the whole line up and buy on the back of that; if they released the stage times were released now, all those people tempted by tickets might be put off when they realize the bands they want to see clash.

I doubt anyone will be swayed to go or not by the set times.

More likely it's a ploy to get you to buy the lanyards at the festival.

That seems way more likely, but to be honest it's silly no matter the reason.

if your tempted to buy a ticket at this late stage because you want to see say 8 bands and you find out due to clashes your only going to get to see 4 then you'll think twice about going.

This. When other festivals can do it 1-2 months in advance, at least a couple of weeks before the Bloodstock would be nice

Yup. And I bet those other festivals still manage to sell lanyards, too. :P

All stage times need to be announced like how Temple festival did it this year because you can easily convert it into a lanyard if you have access to a laminator as below.

Image
2017 Gigs (here so I remember to go)

17/06 - Guns N' Roses - London
15/07 - Saor - London
10/08 - 13/08 - Bloodstock
