Cut off combats for me this coming weekend and old faithful (my sleeveless denim jacket) for over my t-shirt if it gets cold at any point.
Although, being from Scotland means I will burn to a crisp if it goes above freezing!

True facts. Though I'm taking a pair of cut off bernys if I get the button sorted on them. I'll have spare pairs of shorts to change into though, so it's not a big deal If they get soaked through

At least two storms going to hit the UK around midweek according to the BBC. We should miss the worst of it.

Yeah it's still looking good on Metcheck, minus some showers on Friday night.
BBC not as healthy, with rain Thursday and Friday.

Re: The (speculative) Weather Thread
I remember a few years ago ('08 or '09?) some weather forecast said it'd be ~10000℃ with massive storms.
So long as I can get my tent up without it getting piss wet through, I'm happy.

It's guaranteed to piss down from Thursday onwards. I've just realised that England are playing the Aussies at Trent Bridge.

Re: The (speculative) Weather Thread
I'm a bit fearful to comment too much on the weather in case I jinx it, but at the moment, the forecast is not showing any rain from Thursday onwards... just clouds. Keeping crossed all my fingers, toes, and anything else there is to cross. Though to be fair, as long as Thursday is dry I'm happy, I can just get drunk the rest of the time and forget about the weather... but putting up a tent in the rain = massive nope. I'm useless enough at putting the thing up anyway, don't need rain to make things more painful

I reckon we'll get a few small showers. The kind where you go "is that it?" if it's going to be any day, it'll likely be saturday. Reckon we're gonna be alright
