Boom!

That being said, I don't know if that's the best place, it's just the one Bloodstock plug the most so it's more likely to get you sorted.

...which is why I normally start this thread a LOT earlier. Sorry, forgot to do it this year. But hopefully this will help people find a lift if they need it or fill in a spare seat!

Aye, I forgot to remind you.

I suppose I ought to offer a seat or two here.

I'll be driving in from Nottingham probably thursday. My route will be A453, A50, A38. I can take 3. Mandatory payment: Help put up my trailer tent I'll be towing. I will accept beer as well as optional donation towards petrol.
If it sounds good, listen to it

This is more of a "just in case" thing, but the person who said they'd give me a lift, originally said that they were "probably" going, and is now not answering when I'm asking if they are or not. With 26 days to go, I'd rather cast my net now. (Good old reliable people...)

Will be me and a friend travelling from Dunstable/Luton area, willing to travel to nearby towns in order to coincide with your route.

Likewise, my lift offer has gone silent despite a few polite emails and texts from me.

Thankfully there is a direct bus from Glasgow at 7am on the Thursday but it is £72 I hadn't budgetted for and I will need to book a hotel in Glasgow on the Wednesday night too.

Yeah, I can make my way there on the train, but that's £65 I'd rather not spend.

Can you easily get to somewhere where London Midland trains run from? Bedford, Watford, Milton Keynes?

They have loads of bargain fares. Last year it was £15 return from Liverpool for us.

I got a bit excited then... :( Return from Bedford to Lichfield City is much cheaper, about £38, but once you count in the fare to Bedford (£8 each way), and then the shuttle to and from the festival, it's about the same.

If I can score a lift to Bedford, it might be option. Thanks anyway, though.

EDIT: Milton Keynes is looking very promising though! Can anyone tell me roughly how long it takes to get from Lichfield City station to the festival? I think MK is gonna be it tbh, just want to get a rough idea of the timings so I can book the correct train.

Thanks a lot Gandalf, I probably wouldn't have thought of that!
