I'd happily watch Watain, though after their antics last time they may have irritated the organisers to much.

Indeed. I've heard the chances of them returning are slim.

Diva type behaviour I think - there was a Q&A thread where IIRC Vicky mentioned a black metal band that wanted appropriate weather (dark and stormy) when they were on, and I'm guessing it was them! They ended up playing the SG slot but not booked as such. Another story was that they were pissed at their hotel, and one went to the wrong room, thought his bandmates weren't letting him in so kicked the door down!

Ah yeah, I remember that - apparently Eric was wasted and burst into some family's hotel room, Necrobutcher from Mayhem found him and slapped him around a bit, and told Eric to apologise to everyone, which was why Eric was wandering around the festival on the last day being nice to everyone.

As for the "darkening the skies" bit, Vicky's over-egging that a bit, the festival specifically announced them as playing "as dusk settles on Catton Hall", and they basically tries to told them that, saying it was going to be too bright in the 3rd place slot.
