How much do they charge for that usually?
I think I've bought probably 10 drinks or less in the arena throughout all of the Bloodstocks I've been to. It's usually warm and shite, it's relatively easy to just nip back to your tent throughout the day!

Good idea in theory, probably not in practice. On top of being too expensive, and something that will probably play a factor in this issue too, they're likely to run the risk of having excessive amounts of stock left over. If they buy a few boxes of x amount of different spirits, and then charge more than they would for the house spirits, people are probably going to favour the house spirits, or the bottles of said spirits they bought and paid less for. They probably don't want to have to deal with lugging and storing leftover bar stock to wherever.

A company run bar sounds a better idea though. They might be able to run at a more competetive price
I went a way for some time, but I guess I should come back and annoy people due to attending this year

I bought a grand total of one beer in the arena this year.

The small amount of drinking I did was in the campsite as I brought a bottle of Buffalo Trace bourbon that cost me £18.

I brought some in a can last year. It tastes really weird warm though.

It probably is a bit crap warm. I was thinking of them having a stall like they do at the races. They sell it by the bucket load.

I remember the old days of Donington where you just decanted your spirits and mixers into large plastic containers you got at the gate.

I used to quite enjoy having my carryout in the arena and it got lighter as the day went on. It just wasn't great if the weather was good - half way through MOR 1995 I had a 3 litres of very warm vodka and coke.

My sole motivation for taking sake to BOA 2014.
