Haven't seen then take an umbrella off anyone, I normally have a folding one with me. Suppose if you tried to take in a great big huge beach umbrella you might have problems.

This year I have downgraded to a old duvet that is spare in the loft. I bought a cheap sleeping bag last year and it fell to bits after the Saturday.

Only gear decision is whether I go ultra-light with what I can get into a 38 litre pack or take a bloody great trolley load and glamp.

Get down to Argos or Clas Ohlson. I've had decent ones from them that have lasted for years for about a tenner.

Will do, I got one from B&M for £5 last year and got exactly what I paid for - not a lot!

My cheap Proaction one from Argos lasted about ten years including about twenty festivals and lots of camping trips.

Seems that most of the outdoor places have a sale on at the moment as well.

It's not poetry unless you rhyme fire with desire. :P

Beer and food was my desire
Ended up with a ring of fire

The BOA sun was a ball of fire
A chilled lager was my desire

A dry day at a festival is what I desire
for I cannot get my BBQ to spark into fire
the sodding campsite is a quagmire

'Oh the BOA line up is complete
I shall be too inebriated to greet
the randomers who I shall meet

Allow me to summarize,
I want to see Anthrax not Pulverize
How many times will I hear those SSSSSLLLLLAYYYYYEEEERRR cries,

'Oh the BOA line up is complete
all those burgers I shall eat
just don't ask what's in the meat
