It's all about Twisted Sister for me this year.

Not much else that I haven't seen about a dozen times previously or that I have any intention of watching anyway.

It says something about how far Bloodstock has diverged from my tastes, that there is only a single "must see" band for me this year:

Twisted Sister

If I'm being generous and include those bands that I'm expecting to enjoy, it would also include the following, but they're not even close to "must see" for my tastes:

Twisted Sister
Dragonforce
Satyricon
Anthrax
Rotting Christ
Brutai
Pythia
CH3NO2 -- It's the only way to be sure
You laugh at me because I'm different. I pity you, you're all the same...

Behemoth first as I have never seen them. Excited to see bands I haven't seen in a long time too like Anthrax, Slayer, Fear Factory and Mastodon.

So ...

Behemoth
Symphony X
Slayer
Paradise Lost
Fear Factory
Anthrax
Diamond Head
Corrosion of Conformity
Mastodon
Satyricon
One Machine
Acid Reign
Twisted Sister
Vallenfyre
Ackercocke
Misery Loves Co
Venom lastly because they're actually pretty crap bar a few legendary songs and their influence on many bands so I'll watch them

Loads of other bands I am looking forward to seeing too, but these are the main ones for me so far this year. Sophie stage is looking a spectacularly weak this year unfortunately and nothing I've heard of the New Blood bands so far interests me, although last few years I've seen some great bands there

Misery Loves Co. and Rotting Christ are pretty much the main two bands I absolutely will slaughter a motherfucker for getting in the way of me seeing. The rest I generally like all of them so whatever clashes come up I'll just live with.

Only two *must see* bands: Twisted Sister and Goatwhore.

Quite a few I want to see but if its on Friday and not TS I have no interest in seeing it. Keep hoping for a good New Blood line-up.

Twisted Sister and CoC are my main must sees - TS are the best headliner we've had so far and CoC were excellent in London a few weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing PL, Anthrax, Mastodon, Symphony X, DF, and will give MLC a go - I liked their first two albums and missed them while still queuing up for Machine Head in Leeds 1998.

There's another band which I've been told are playing but not announced yet who I'm happy with. They may not be of great appeal to many on here, but I saw them in Manchester a few weeks ago and they were fantastic.

Metal Church didn't play Manchester a few weeks ago though. :P

They're not a trad metal, nor folk or power, so probably won't sway anyone who's not getting much out of the line up - and I'd guess they'd be a Sophie stage band more than main stage. Not going to say who unless the ink hasn't dried yet, but it came from their manager

Ahh go on, pm me maybe! I'm guessing it's death or black metal, I saw Marduk Immolation and Origin the other week, maybe one of them?
