Knowing someone else's taste then I doubt it will be Black or Death Metal.

I'm guessing at something from the Noiz all dayer the other week. If so, then it's only going to be a mid afternoon Sophie stage band.

I agree! And there's really not that much in the way of Death Metal anyway, especially old school! There are alot of Blackened and non melodic bands though.

Ah that's pretty weak (the all dayer), imagine it's stoner or beard band  any ideas who will take the last big slots?

If that's the case I'm likely to be pretty happy with it. That was a cracking line up.

My 'must see' list:

Akercocke (I'm so excited about this, it's ridiculous)
Behemoth
Twisted Sister
Goatwhore
Rotting Christ
Satyricon
Ghost Bath
Vallenfyre
Evil Scarecrow
Diamond Head
One Machine
Dragonforce

Mordrake also sound interesting. And I think The Crawling won their round of M2TM masses and they're pretty good.
Rum.

Last.fm - just in case you want to see what I'm listening to.

If only there was only black and death metal - some reformed nu-metal pub band from 17 years ago is more important apparently.

Checked out a few more bands last night and definitely want to catch Rabid Bitch of the North, they sound great! Please don't clash with Slayer or Anthrax!
Vektor sounded alot more complicated than I thought, still probably worth a watch
Wasn't keen on anything else

Yeah, I regret not taking more time to check them out last time. I think it was clashes and generally getting trashed and tired of walking around. I want to make a better effort of watching them at least one whole song this time. And I want to get their cassette tape too.
