Clashfinder

Anybody done one of these yet?

I know it's not 100% accurate. But it's fun to see potential clashes and potential non-clashes.

Thanks a lot for this! I am pretty miffed at some of the clashes this year, also got a fair few gaps where there's a load of crap on and wish some of my clashes were sorted when there's nothing I want to see. Oh well, Paradise Lost and One Machine clashing sucks, as does Anthrax and Memorium, Vektor and Symphony X, Pythia and Slayer

Be aware that the Sophie stage is almost certainly wrong as there is one fewer band this year (TBA aren't playing everyday :P ). And apparently no bands are clashing with the Dio stage headliners.

That's the impression that I got from one of the replies on Facebook in response to some one complaining about a band clashing with one of the headliners, possibly Twisted Sister? Along the lines of "Nobody will be clashing with XXXXXX"

The Bloodstock app has the 4DJs on the Sophie Stage during the main headliners so that's most likely true.

They'll probably just move the bands down a slot.

Which means that apart from Acid Reign there's absolutely nothing I plan on watching on Saturday after 7 o'clock or so. The rest of the day isn't exactly thrilling. :(

Sorry, wasn't clear before. The app has the 4DJs on during the mainstage headliners then the Sophie headliners on afterwards.

I understood that. :P

I meant the lower order bands moving down a slot on the Clashfinder. The Heretic Order starting at 11 and so on, with Shining finishing before Mastodon starts. DJs then Acid Reign. Then DJs again.

Still means there's only one band that I want to watch after 7 o'clock.

Ah, okay then! That's not too bad then, I thought for a moment that they had gone back to the headliner being the last band on so if you didn't like them you were fucked.

Acid Reign and Rotting Christ are the only two bands on at all I'm bothered about seeing on the Saturday!

It's very poor for me. I think most of the day will be spent pottering around the smaller stages. If that gets boring then I might sod off to the pub.

I'll probably watch Vallenfyre, Akercocke and Paradise Lost (who were surprisingly good when they played Liverpool last year). I may give Rotting Christ another look, but I wasn't very impressed last time they played.

Can't stand any of the other main stage acts though.

so do you think that they'll add 5 or 10 minutes to some of the sets?

No idea to be honest. It's probably just a bit of tweaking.
