Re: Clashfinder
If it's true that there are no clashes between RJD and Sophie stage times this year and also the Sophie Headliner playing after the RJD headliner then thats great news all round. Very happy with that, just hope it's true!

That would suit me surprisingly well if applied to the current guess at the clashfinder

Re: Clashfinder
there'll be clashes, how awkward they are depends on how varied your tastes are. If the organisers get the right mix of Black/Death/Doom/Thrash/Folk/Power metal across the stages then there shouldn't be any real clashes

I'll probably watch Vallenfyre, Akercocke and Paradise Lost (who were surprisingly good when they played Liverpool last year). I may give Rotting Christ another look, but I wasn't very impressed last time they played.
Can't stand any of the other main stage acts though.
Oh I forgot about Akercocke, I'm a big fan. Although I don't have much faith in Bloodstock's main stage sound suiting them. Rotting Christ are a hit and miss band for me and have never greatly impressed me live but I do really like some of their stuff. I still haven't bought a ticket yet anyway!
Re: Clashfinder
Ugh, so many potential clashes! Gojira/Myrath, Anthrax/Footprints in the custard, Shining/Mastodon, Satyricon/Visions of disfigurement..
Really hope it'll change.

worst clash for me so far is Behemoth/Beholder

That is a shocker of a clash. I really want to see both bands.

I'm hoping that it changes when the official times are released, it's a horrible clash.

Re: Clashfinder
People really are wasting their time with the clashfinders at the moment as its pretty clear the times on the Sophie stage will be different to last year (as they seem to be every year)
Sadly we just have to wait until the powers that be decide its late enough to release the official times so it doesn't hit laminate sales too badly

Re: Clashfinder
My current schedule is likley more accurate than any other clashfinder. Simply as no bands are actually on it yet!

Re: Clashfinder
Yep - we'll probably be waiting until the week of the fest for a full run down, but IIRC Behemoth were getting a 75 min extended SG slot like Sabaton and Avantasia did
Re: Clashfinder
Indeed, last year the app was updated on the weekend before the fest and the set times were "announced" on Monday. Not seen anything about Behemoth getting a longer slot but Avantasia got 90 minutes not 75. Though the extra time was just switching guests around...

I take it this will probably be the setlist. A 45 minute album plus 4 other songs, so you're going to get something like 65 - 70 minutes or so. Unless they play them at warp speed.
SETLIST SPOILERS as some people complain.
